We must have a minimum number of students enrolled by the registration deadline or we cancel a class and refund your fees. BUT after the registration deadline, if we are already holding the class, we may be able to accept additional students.

Pay before you play. Students normally take one lesson each week. Fees are paid monthly before the first lesson of that month. The monthly fee is based on the weekly cost times the number of lessons scheduled by the instructor for that month. There are no refunds when students miss lessons.
Guitar Lessons
Kevin Taylor (or KT as he is known in the local music scene) offers guitar and bass lessons. There are a few openings left. Lessons are private and 30 minutes in length.

Piano Lessons
Cheryl Black offers piano lessons. Cheryl has many years of teaching experience in the public schools and as a private piano instructor. She has a few openings left. Lessons are private and 30 minutes in length.

Choral Ensembles
Under the direction of Dr. Susan Wyatt, the FAC provides choral programs for the talented singers and instrumentalists of Kershaw County. Not just for singers anymore – instrumentalists invited, too.
Male Ensemble (Grade 5 & Up and Adults) 5 - 6 PM
Women’s Choir (Grade 6 & Up and Adults) 6:15 – 7:30 PM
Cost: students - $32 per month, adults - $40 per semester

Brevard Music Scholarship Competition
Put your musical talents to the test in the Brevard Music Scholarship Competition! With three different scholarship opportunities, winners can go home with money toward further study or spend the summer at the prestigious Brevard Summer Music Camp. This program is for students who reside in Kershaw County or students of teachers who reside in Kershaw County. Pick up competition guidelines and an entry form at the FAC Box Office or click here to download forms.
Brevard Scholarship is open to students who will be 14 or older on or prior to June 22, 2009
Junior Scholarship students in grade 6 - 8
Senior Scholarship students in grade 9 - 12
Registration Deadline, Friday, January 30, 2009
Competition Saturday, February 7, 2009
Followed by a Public Recital at 7:30 PM in the Wood Auditorium
